This fee is due by <strong>May 1 <\/strong>and is non-refundable after June 1. &nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>2. Set up your NAU email<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Activate your NAU email account and <a href=\"http:\/\/legacy.nau.edu\/password\">password<\/a>, then access and check your NAU email regularly at <a href=\"http:\/\/gmail.nau.edu\/\">Gmail<\/a>. You should also continue to check your personal email account, as well as your <a href=\"http:\/\/legacy.nau.edu\/LOUIE\">LOUIE<\/a> account regularly for important updates.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4>3.&nbsp;Apply for financial aid<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Submit a&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/h\/apply-for-aid\/fafsa\" target=\"_blank\">Free Application for Federal Student Aid<\/a>&nbsp;(FAFSA) as soon as possible after it becomes available each fall. NAU\u2019s priority filing date is <strong>April 1<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Be sure to include NAU institution code 001082.<\/li><li>Renew it each year to qualify for many types of financial aid.<\/li><li>Undocumented students who are ineligible to complete the FAFSA can complete the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/cssprofile.collegeboard.org\" target=\"_blank\">CSS profile<\/a> using NAU school code 4006.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4>4. Apply for scholarships<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Additional scholarships are available for students to apply for via <a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.nau.edu\/office-of-scholarships-and-financial-aid\/scholarshipuniverse\/\">ScholarshipUniverse<\/a>.<\/li><li>The general and NAU Foundation scholarship applications close on <strong>April 15<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>5. Send us your transcripts if you haven&#8217;t already<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Have official transcripts sent from all schools previously attended.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Send all transcripts to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Northern Arizona University<br>Admissions and Enrollment Services&nbsp;<br>PO Box 4084<br>Flagstaff, AZ 86011-4084<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>6.&nbsp;Find and apply for housing<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>A variety of <a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.nau.edu\/campus-living\/how-to-apply-for-housing\/\">upper-division, on-campus housing options<\/a> are available for transfer students.<\/li><li>Learn more about off-campus housing resources with <a href=\"http:\/\/louieslist.nau.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Louie\u2019s List<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>7.&nbsp;<\/strong>Participate in <a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.nau.edu\/student-affairs\/onboarding\/transfer-student\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/legacy.nau.edu\/student-affairs\/onboarding\/transfer-student\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New Student Onboarding<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>New student Onboarding is a chance to get to know your Transfer Peer Menor, discover resources and support, and connect with people to help make your transition to NAU smooth and enjoyable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>8. Complete priority enrollment and academic advising <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Follow the steps for <a href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/university-advising\/new-admits\/\">incoming students<\/a> to initiate your first-term enrollment and complete academic advising.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>9.
