Exhibition Dates: September 10 – November 23, 2019

Eric Conrad employs resolutely “anti-art” materials such as cast-off clothing, team mascots and cheap souvenirs to create sculptures that are simultaneously funny, creepy and surprisingly moving. His works, which typically involve multiple figures in awkward situations, evoke the general confusion of life, love, thwarted desires and mistaken signals. The inherently democratic nature of his materials only underscores the universality of the emotions and experiences his figures express.
