Northern Arizona University team developing satellite-based wildfire detection system

  David Trilling, astronomy and planetary science professor at Northern Arizona University, holds a 3D-printed model of a camera that is part of a satellite-based wildfire detection system design inside a laboratory at NAU on Tuesday. Northern Arizona University students conduct environmental research in new summer program at Historic Hat Ranch

Andy will be moving to Greenbelt, Maryland, to be NASA Postdoctoral Fellow at Goddard Space Flight Center.
