Promotional item artwork review and approval request
This form is for obtaining approval for artwork (including logos) used for promotional (giveaway) items. Approval is required prior to placing an order with a licensee. Purchasing will require a copy of this artwork approval for PCard reconciliation.

Please note where funds raised from the item will be directed, if the NAU Foundation is aware of this item being produced, quantity of item being ordered, and who the intended audience is.

Design review request
Please fill out this form as completely as possible and attach applicable documents. Submitted requests include the review of a design for NAU brand compliance and consistency, and may include recommendations to improve the effectiveness of your design. Reviews of content are typically not included, and thus any content included in your design should not be considered approved by Strategic Communications.
After you submit the form, a representative will reach out to you within five business days with the results of the design review.
Design reviews do not include ADA remediation and the PDFs cannot be distributed digitally unless they are ADA compliant. If you need your PDF to be ADA compliant to distribute digitally, you can submit a request to the university’s Usable Materials Center.
Include product size and distribution quantity, if known, and any additional notes that will help explain your vision. If looking for a recommendation, please let us know.

Please elaborate on reasoning why you think this should be federally or internationally registered. Please note that it could take anywhere from 12-18 months to federally register a trademark.
Information gleaned from intentional digital search engine searches and any external agency that has supported the development of the new name/mark/slogan about similar names/marks/slogans for similar goods/services in the market and why the unit making the request considers the new name/mark/slogan different from what is already in use.
