Student accomplishments

Floyd Perkins shared the results from his interdisciplinary capstone research in a podcast titled “Murda Music: Anti-gayness in Jamaica.”

Shyla Cox presented her BUS Capstone research titled “All the stages are worlds: Empowering self through Applied Ensemble Theatre” at the Honor’s College capstone presentations.

Elysium Lynn conducted interdisciplinary research on “Marijuana and Mental Health” using research literature from biomedicine and psychology.

Tanner Simmons shared his capstone research titled, “Chronic Wasting Disease amongst animals in the cervidae family: Science and public opinion” at the end of semester BUS capstone presentations.

Spencer Weston presented his research on “Comic Conundrum: Batman, Brokers, & Barriers” at the annual Spring 2019 Undergraduate Symposium.

Elliot Minnehan presented his research on “Gaming: Impact and Lifestyle” at the annual SBS Symposium in Fall 2018 at Ashurst Auditorium.

Daniel Berzins on his work entitled, “Mother Nature’s Anti-Cancer Arsenal” presented at the annual Undergraduate Symposium in April 2018 at the NAU Walkup Skydome.

Hunter Wilson-Pena presented her work entitled, “Making YouTube Profitable” at the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences Symposium in Fall 2017.

Sierra Hickingbottom presented her research about “Evolution of Pediatric Oncology:  A Closer Look at the Declining Mortality Rates” at the annual Undergraduate Symposium in Spring 2017.

Samantha Zah for her work entitled, “Leadership Influences on Internal Drivers of Corporate Social Responsibility” presented at the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences Symposium in Fall 2016.

Laura Armstrong for her work entitled, “Accidental Deaths and Injuries from Sleepwalking” presented at the annual Undergraduate Symposium in Spring 2016.
