Congratulations to Professor of Art History Dr. Alexandra Carpino! She will become the Associate Dean for Student and Faculty Success for the College of Arts & Letters in summer 2023. She previously held the position during this academic year as interim.

Congratulations to CCS undergraduate student Morgan Wood, who will receive the Lois Kellogg Duncan scholarship offered by the department of Comparative Cultural Studies! Congratulations to CCS major (emphasis in Art History) Katherine Leddy! She recently presented a paper entitled “Wartime Trauma in Greek Vase Painting: The Suicide of Ajax” in April at the 2023 SUNY New Paltz Undergraduate Art History Symposium. This symposium is now in its fifth year, and it has become the largest event of its kind in the world with roughly 150 speakers attending collegiate institutions located around the world.
