Implementation Roadmaps: Strengthening Tribal Maternal Health

Project overview
The Center for Community Health and Engaged Research (CHER), in collaboration with the Maternal Health Learning and Innovation Center (MHLIC) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, spent 12 months creating a Tribal engagement toolkit for use by Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Maternal Health Innovation (MHI) awardees working with Indigenous communities.
This project concluded in December 2024 and was funded by the HRSA of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

A forthcoming publication titled “The Utilization of a Learning Collaborative to Develop Implementation Roadmaps to Address the Maternal Health Crisis in the US” will further explore the methods and outcomes of this collaborative project.
