Rural health encompasses the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of rural populations. These communities often face unique health challenges due to historical, geographic, and systemic factors.

Center for Community Health and Engaged Research’s (CHER) role

The Center for Community Health and Engaged Research (CHER) collaborates with rural communities to address health through community sensitive research, community engagement, and policy advocacy. Our goal is to empower these communities by promoting health research and supporting initiatives that respect and integrate traditional practices with modern healthcare solutions.
