So far, RIC has produced more than 30 workshops attended by more than 600 participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All prerecorded workshops are <a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.nau.edu\/sherc\/ric-pre-recorded-workshops-registration\/\">now available online<\/a> for faculty, students, and community members who want to dive deeper into a topic or learn a new skill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThese workshops provide topical background including methodology for social science research, statistical support, available computational and data collection and storage tools to support research, and issues surrounding regulatory compliance,\u201d said Catherine Propper, co-lead of RIC and a professor in the Department of Biological Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specific examples, presented by faculty and staff from across NAU, as well as state and national experts, include \u201cGIS and Spatial Analysis\u201d to \u201cStructural Equation Modeling\u201d to \u201cDesigning and Conducting Focus Groups.\u201d The workshops are ideal for both beginners and experts who would like a review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>View the list of available <a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.nau.edu\/sherc\/ric-pre-recorded-workshops-registration\/\">pre-recorded RIC workshops<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over the last four years, the Research Infrastructure Core (RIC) of the Southwest Health Equity Research Collaborative has been bringing timely and relevant research methods workshops to Northern Arizona University faculty, students, and the local community.
