Nestled at 7,000 feet above sea level, Flagstaff offers breathtaking scenery, endless outdoor adventures, and a vibrant mountain-town atmosphere. We hope you are able to explore all Flagstaff has to offer while you are here for Commencement.<\/p>\n<p>At this high elevation, the thinner air and lower oxygen levels can affect visitors who aren&#8217;t used to it. To stay comfortable and make the most of your visit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water to help your body adjust.<\/li>\n<li>Take it slow: Give yourself time to acclimate and take all necessary breaks.<\/li>\n<li>Watch for symptoms: Headaches, dizziness, and shortness of breath can be signs of altitude sickness. If you feel unwell, take a break, hydrate, and focus on taking deep breaths.<\/li>\n<li>Traffic controllers will be available to assist you in navigating campus; however, their primary goal is to keep traffic flowing, and they may refer you to the next traffic controller for answers to questions.
