Economic Policy Institute

By collecting primary data and performing quantitative research, the Economic Policy Institute (which is located within The W. A. Franke College of Business) encourages Arizona tourism and economic development for tribal and rural communities. EPI collaborates on projects with government offices at all levels in addition to working with the business sector and non-profit organizations.

Our outreach efforts bring financial literacy to our youth and to our state’s developing entrepreneurs. Our events strengthen these efforts as well as provide networking opportunities for business communities. The Economic Policy Institute team makes this all happen.

About the Economic Policy Institute

The inception of the Economic Policy Institute can be traced back to 1999. The Institute serves over 10,000 individuals annually throughout Arizona. Our professional expertise is delivered by our strong, collaborative team.

The Economic Policy Institute provides economic research and education services to empower rural and tribal communities.

Two entities that came under the umbrella of the Economic Policy Institute (EPI) have roots going back decades. The Center for American Indian Economic Development (CAIED) in 1985 and the Arizona Hospitality Research and Resource Center (AHRRC) in 1989.
