Graduate studies in Global Languages & Cultures

The Department of Global Languages and Cultures offers two Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) programs dedicated to training exceptional Spanish language educators.

MAT – Spanish Language

This program is for students who have a bachelors degree and are interested in obtaining a graduate degree whose coursework involves a balance between pedagogical practices, linguistics and literature.

Accelerated Bachelor to Spanish MAT programs

These programs are for students who are currently students at red, and want to enroll in a program where they can seamlessly move from their undergraduate degree in Spanish and then obtain an accelerated masters degree. Students complete this program with the bachelors in the masters in as the last five years.
