Graduate Student Government Professional Development Awards

Description

The Graduate Student Government (GSG) at Northern Arizona University proudly offers Professional Development Awards to support the academic and career advancement of current, graduate degree-seeking students at the Flagstaff Mountain campus.

These awards provide funding for activities such as conference attendance, research presentations, workshops, and other professional opportunities that contribute to your growth as a scholar and practitioner.

Financial aid impact

The GSG Professional Development Awards will be processed through student accounts, which may have an impact on the total amount of federal aid the student receives. Prior to accepting this award, applicants are encouraged to review any federal financial aid impact by emailing financial.aid@nau.edu or by calling 928-523-4951.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  1. Be current, degree-seeking Flagstaff Mountain campus graduate students
  2. Be enrolled full or part-time
  3. Be in good academic standing
  4. Have no record of academic integrity violations

How to apply

Awards are distributed through a competitive application process administered at the college level. Selection is based on merit, relevance of the proposed activity, and potential impact on the student’s academic and professional goals. To learn more about the application process and eligibility requirements, please reach out to your degree program’s administrative team directly using the NAU Directory.
