Opportunities available for those with F-1 status

Study abroad

Students interested in studying abroad should visit the NAU Education Abroad office about opportunities that may be available. International students must remain enrolled full-time at their NAU home campus while studying abroad and should plan to meet with the Education Abroad office as well as an ISSS advisor when making plans.

Research abroad

Doctoral students who plan to spend a significant time during a required semester or year completing research outside of the United States should plan to meet with an ISSS advisor when making plans to update their I-20 accordingly.
