Housing

Living on- and off-campus

We encourage exchange students to live on-campus. Living on-campus is convenient for students and a great way to meet new people. Exchange students live in Upper Division housing, more information is available on the Housing and Residence Life website.

A unique living opportunity is the NAU International House, a living and learning residential community.

NAU has an off-campus guide to give students more information about this option. If students choose to live off-campus, they will likely pay a security deposit and have a contract with the property management company or landlord. Students should read the housing contracts carefully and understand the financial commitment and obligation before signing a contract.
