125+ Years of Shaping Education

Did you know? NAU was founded as a teachers’ college in 1899 with 23 students, two faculty members, and two sheepskin-bound dictionaries. Today, the College of Education serves thousands of students across Arizona and online, but our legacy of preparing tomorrow’s educators to teach, lead and support remains unchanged.
