As part of Northern Arizona University\u2019s Master of Public Administration program, you will have the opportunity for hands-on administrative leadership experience through internships or fieldwork. This experience prepares you for leadership roles in public service as you gain critical managerial skills and enhance professional connections. You will gain insight into the operations of government and non-profit organizations directly from public administrators. Also, working within a community will expose you to public service values and professional ethics.<\/p>\n
You might have thoughts on where to complete your internship, or our NAU faculty may guide you in your internship placement. Over the years, we have developed relationships with the City of Flagstaff, Coconino County, and various agencies, such as the U.S. Forest Service.<\/p>\n
