Viola audition repertoire

Undergraduate and graduate audition requirements

• Three-octave major and minor scales at least in key signatures through four-sharps and four-flats
• A slow/lyrical solo or etude
• A fast/technical solo or etude
• Sight-reading may be asked

• Concerto in G Major by G. F. Telemann
• Six Suites for Solo Viola (arr. From cello) by J. S. Bach (any movement is fine)
