Global Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
NAU’s Global Bachelor of Science in Nursing (GBSN) Format delivers a rich and innovative academic experience designed to expand access to healthcare and build a workforce ready for tomorrow.
The Global BSN is an optimal blend of online and in-person learning. The GBSN is offered as a hybrid-learning model that combines online coursework (a mix of scheduled live sessions and flexible self-paced learning) with in-person clinical training at partners’ facilities across the state, with a specific emphasis on rural and medically underserved areas. This structure allows students to complete their education with greater flexibility and balance. Over the course of this four-semester (16-month) program, students travel to an NAU campus once per semester for a four-day integrated learning experience, which includes nursing skill and simulation labs. Complete a maximum of 405 clinical hours in the final semester at a partner facility.

What degree will I receive?
Students in this format complete prerequisite courses through NAU or a local community college, then apply for admission to NAU’s Global BSN Format.
