Search for scholarships awarded to students based on college majors, hobbies, achievements, grades, or other criteria that might apply to you. Organizations such as CollegeBoard and FastWeb can help you find scholarships.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Plan ahead<\/strong>. Donors might ask for essays, r\u00e9sum\u00e9s, or letters of recommendation. Consider creating a general essay template that you can modify for different donors, and begin gathering letters of recommendation as soon as possible.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Submit complete applications<\/strong>.&nbsp;Always check you have completed the entire application and answered all of the questions before submitting your application.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Be cautious of scams<\/strong>. No legitimate scholarship donor will ask you for money to apply for an award.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"donors\">For scholarship donors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-p3\">Thank you for your generosity in partnering with us to help make higher education accessible to all!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-p3\">To add your scholarship information to our website, submit a request to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:scholarships@nau.edu\">scholarships@nau.edu<\/a>&nbsp;with the name of your award opportunity and application due date in the subject line. We\u2019ll review the scholarship website and\/or application you provide. If approved for posting, we\u2019ll notify you via email. We appreciate your patience during the review process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-p3\">* Please note that links that do not go directly to a scholarship application are not accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"Send\">Sending a scholarship check<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-p3\">Once we receive a scholarship check and any corresponding documentation, we work to post the award on the student\u2019s account in a timely manner. Donors sending a scholarship check for a specific student (or several students) must send the check, made out to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-p3\">Northern Arizona University<br>Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid<br>PO Box 4108<br>Flagstaff, AZ 86011<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-p3\">Include the student\u2019s NAU ID number and full name on the check, and an award letter that specifies any of the scholarship requirements or restrictions, including which term the scholarship should be applied to.
