Meliksah Demir, Ph.D., Nora Dunbar, Ph.D., and former NAU student Shelby Burton authored the article Professor-Student Rapport and Perceived Autonomy Support as Predictor of Course and Student Outcomes in the January edition of Teaching of Psychology, the American Psychological Association’s flagship journal for educators in the field.   One of the conclusions resulting from their research was that “providing professors with opportunity to enhance rapport and autonomy may improve student success.”  Ms. Burton is now a fourth-year doctorate student in… Read more
