The Sedona Film Festival, now in its 26th year, draws cinephiles from throughout the globe. In additional to shorts, documentaries, animations, and foreign films, the festival includes workshops, seminars, and panel discussions on an eclectic mix of topics. Dr. Patch’s Research on Maternal Recall Published in Maternal-Fetal & Neonatal Medicine
Emily Patch, Ph.D., and coauthor Eileen McGrath, Ph.D., of the University of Arizona College of Medicine, had their original research exploring mothers’ recall of infant data and maternal health published in The Journal of Maternal-Fetal & Neonatal Medicine. The authors found that, while mothers were accurate in their recollection of gestational age and infant birth weights, they were much less so in reporting their own medical diagnoses. Dr. Ann Huffman Elected Chair of APA Board of Convention and Affairs
Ann Huffman, Ph.D., of the Department of Psychological Sciences, began her term as Chair of the Board of Convention Affairs of the American Psychological Association (APA) on January 1, 2020. Dr. Huffman has been a member of the Board since 2017 and was elected Chair in 2019. The Board is responsible for planning and executing the organization’s annual convention, which last year welcomed over 10,000 attendees from more than fifty countries.
