SES PhD student leads paleoclimate study of precipitation and sea ice in Arctic Alaska

Ellie Broadman is the lead author on a new paper linking sea ice and climate records in the arctic. “Coupled impacts of sea ice variability and North Pacific atmospheric circulation on Holocene hydroclimate in Arctic Alaska,” was recently published in PNAS. Read more at NAU News. Congrats Ellie!

SES ecologist Clare Aslan receives grant to study improvements in pollinator habitat and biodiversity

Dr. Clare Aslan is an Associate Professor in SES and co-director of the Center for Adaptable Western Landscapes.
