COVID-19 connections

Health inequities in a time of COVID-19

According to a study by the Pew Research Center, about half of lower-income Americans report household job or wage loss due to COVID-19. Many partner organizations of the Center for Community Health and Engaged Research (CHER) are feeling the pandemic.

To assist partnerships between NAU researchers and community organizations with funding, the Southwest Health Equity Collaborative’s (SHERC) Community Engagement Core has opened the fifth round of their Community-Campus Partnership (CCPS) applications for up to $5,000 per year.
