Hispanic and Latine Heritage Month

For the past month, the Northern Arizona University community has been celebrating Hispanic & Latine Heritage Month. Each year, September 15 to October 15 is observed to celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of individuals whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. Definition of a transfer student:

NAU considers a transfer student to be a person who completed 12 credit hours or more at a college/university after the completion of high school.

A transfer student is typically coming directly from a 2-year or 4-year college/university or took time off from college before returning to a classroom setting. Mentors Win NAU Honors

This fall, Transfer & Online Connections was thrilled to have two of our Peer Mentors awarded the  2020 Gold Axe Award and Distinguished Senior. These honors were awarded to Transfer Peer Mentor Sabrina Proffitt and Jacks Online Mentor Amber Connolly.
