Welcome to Campus Living

2024 Letters Event for the Class of 2028: The Letters is a signature event created and hosted by Campus Living. This annual tradition brings the new freshman class together to spell out NAU the day before classes begin as a great way to meet many new friends and kick off their first academic year, all in view of the majestic peaks.

Connect, explore, and belong

Enhance your student experience and live in the heart of NAU! Our vibrant campus living communities provide a safe, welcoming environment for you to make lifelong friends, conveniently access classes and resources, explore opportunities, and grow as a person. There is so much to discover about yourself, and the others around you, by sharing an incredible experience living on campus.

NAU ranks in the top 1% nationally for on-campus housing capacity, with nearly 10,300 students living on campus.

Whether a new incoming freshman, transfer or international student, or continuing resident, you’ll find your place!

Our Mission and Values

We strive for every prospective, current and former student living on campus to resonate, feel and live our mission and values. Every Campus Living team member, regardless of position, will see themselves and their work represented, shaped and supported through our mission and values. Learn more about our Mission and Values.

What guides our work

Our four foundational value areas guide us in all we do and how we do it—our interactions, approach, priorities, decisions, services, staffing, resources, processes, policies, reflections, and navigation of complex situations. These values interrelate and work in concert to provide this critical, integrated, and comprehensive lens.

Mission Statement - We create a welcoming and vibrant campus living experience where students connect, explore, and belong.

HRL foundational values- Community & Connectedness, Care & support, Learning & Development, Equity & Inclusion

Your voice matter to us

Campus Living strategically utilizes surveys to help students succeed and to continuously improve the on-campus living experience. We provide opportunities for you to report your experience and give feedback at three points during the academic year. Past survey results have been used to improve facilities, community events, staff training, and more.
Watch your NAU email for more information and visit our community pages to learn more about what students have shared about living on campus!
