Summer housing for NAU students

We’re excited you are interested in staying in Flagstaff this summer! Summer housing options are available for students registered for summer classes or preregistered for the fall semester.

Summer housing application process

The summer 2026 housing application will open in February 2026. 

Summer housing parking Accordion Closed

A parking permit is required to park on campus. Please ensure your car is parked between designated stall lines (two white lines). Parking is not permitted in bus lanes, fire lanes, disabled stalls, service vehicle stalls, pedestrian walkways, or roadways.

Summer-only family housing rent for 2026 Accordion Closed

Summer-only family housing is available from June 1 to August 5.

  • You must remain a full-time registered student to be eligible for summer family housing.
  • Family housing is limited to immediate family members only, including spouses and/or children under 18 years of age, with a maximum of five (5) total occupants.
  • Housing accommodations include two twin beds, desks, dressers, a small kitchen, a bathroom, and free wireless and wired internet access.
  • Housing accommodations will not include linens, air-conditioning, telephones, televisions, hair dryers, hangers, irons, or coffee makers.

August downtime rates for 2026 Accordion Closed

August downtime housing is available from August 5 to August 19. Students will be notified of eligibility in July and will be required to move to their fall room assignment on August 12.
